Marie Claire South Africa, March 2011 (NAKED ISSUE)

The Marie Claire annual naked-issue is one of my favourite issues, of any magazine, in the whole year. And this year it will definitely be one that I’ll buy, again. (Please note: This issue is only on sale from 16 February 2011). HurricaneVanessa gave her blog readers a sneak peak of the cover yesterday.

Marie Claire

Previous years, the naked-issue was done to promote breast cancer and domestic violance, but this year, celebs strip bare for the rescue dogs from The NSPCA. Sweet. Tanit Phoenix, one of the most beautiful SA actresses and models, is a great cover model, and she makes it look like something between a tasteful Marie Claire naked-issue-shoot, and a tasteful Playboy-shoot.

Previous Marie Claire Naked-issues:

2010

With Jeannie D on the cover, there was some gossip about a bad photoshop job that was done with the full-colour plastic bag the magazine came in (see above). One of my favourite, and surprised naked-shoots in the issue, was that of Weakest Link host Fiona Coyne. She looks beautiful and strong and actually sexy. RIP Fiona.

2009

Minki van der Westhuizen was on the cover. Also a hot shoot (!) of her in this issue.

Tanit-covers:

Just like Kurt Darren gracing the cover of three covers of Huisgenoot in the duration of only 2 months, Tanit has also been a very busy girl appearing on the cover of two other massive SA-titles; Cosmo and FHM. At least she’s something to look at…

December 2010, Cosmopolitan and February 2011, FHM
