I did it with the latest issue of Grazia South Africa (She has appeared on 11,12% of all their covers so far), so I probably have to do the same with Heat South Africa… The number of Heat South Africa covers Kim Kardashian (cringe) has appeared on so far:
- 7 covers so far in 2014
1110 in 2013 (one issue was just a reference to her, so I’ve taken that out)
- (The rest of the covers I didn’t keep track of properly, so difficult to give exact numbers).
But just in 2013 and 2014, she’s racked up
18 17 covers! If they had 50 issues 2013, and 28 issues so far in 2014… 18 17 covers out of 78 makes for 23% 21,80% (Corrected stat after the one issue fell away)! Scary! And the scarier part is that it’s just HER and not the rest of the Kardashian-Klan! The next time one of them are on a cover, I’ll do that little exercise… 🙂
Confusing Heat ManWatch Competition Messages (again…)
Last year, with their 4 July 2013 issue, I pointed out that something fishy is going on with the Heat ManWatch Competition voting… (It makes for interesting reading, so make sure you do!)
So this year some voting information once again seems very confusing… Here’s why:
In the latest issue today they announced the Top 10 finalists, with a massive headline “Vote TODAY and win!”
But in the copy it states that voting will only open on 11 July and will end on 31 July…
On the official website it states voting is open from 4 July until 24 July… (I think this is what the dates should have been in the new issue above…)
But the confusion doesn’t end there…! In the Rules-page, they state the dates for voting as 27 June until 17 July!
Mmm… So which one is it, because it all seems very different (and very confusing, even for a MediaSlut like myself!)
I’m probably going to be attacked/ignored by them for bringing this up, but these types of things are important… Well, I think it is…
Well, you can vote for your favourite in the Top 10 from last week, or right now, or from next week only, but vote you can vote on their website right here.
